"The known replaced by the unknown, old shall become new, and new old. That not feared will be, and that which guides shall no longer
guide. Fears will be replaced by a new kind of security. That which is believed will no longer be, and that not believed shall be.
Old thoughts will become new and new thoughts old, and that which has been done shall no longer be done and that never done, will be done."

Ken is a
long time TV, Radio. Film. and Stage professional, video producer, TV
& Radio anchor/journalist and pioneer talk show producer/ host in Los
Angeles, Texas, Louisiana ,New Mexico and Europe. Known in England and
the continent for his news and DJ programs from AFN Frankfurt & Berlin.
One of his DJ shows was "The Hot House," with Ken as "The Baron of Bounce,
" a cool Jazz/ Bop program from AFN Frankfurt in the early 50s. Although
it was only a 30 min once a week program, during it's tenure it pulled
more fan mail than all other AFN Frankfurt originated network shows combined
. It was during this period that Ken, as " The Baron, toured Germany with
the late great Dizzy Gillespie, appeared at the London Palladium with
the famed Big Band Orchestra leader and composer, Ted Heath, and played
German Theaters, Concert Halls and American military bases with the European
Jazz All Stars, and also appeared with Stan Kenton and his big Orchestra
touring in Germany. Ken was also featured in concert in Munich, Germany,
with the great Max Gregor, Senior. Other noted Jazz musicians who appeared
at various times in live concerts and/or as radio guests were famed European
jazz vocalist, Rita Reys of Amsterdam, Holland, Jazz pianist Jutta Hipp
of Germany and many others including the celebrated British musician,
composer/conductor Johnny Dankworth and his most talented Jazz vocalist..his
wife Cleo Lane. Over the years Ken has also had on his radio and TV shows
such notable celebrities as Elvis Presley, Mohammed Ali, Minnie Pearl,
Conrad Hilton, Frank Sinatra, Gov George Wallace, and many others.
Ken is also a retired US Army WW-2 combat veteran of three major campaigns
in Europe, as a member of the 84th Inf Div. Ken completed his 20
years service, not with the Army but rather as a Navy Chief Journalist.
Also, in his "spare time," Ken became what is known as a veteran "tail
dragger" pilot. His all time favorite aircraft to fly? The Stearman
biplane, still used today in aerobatic flying.
Ken even to this day is forever busy "doing his thing." Doing "his
thing," can be just about anything he finds interesting or entertaining. One
can say that Ken was "cool" when "cool" wasn't cool...a word he learned from
Dizzy, way back in the early 1950s. ( Sorry kids !)
Dunnagan. founded Transworld Video Productions back in 1981. It was also
known for a while as Rocky Mountain Productions. Ken continues to devote
much of his time and talent to his video productions, and travels
quite often to Europe to film some of his unique videos.
And Ken very much enjoys hearing from his old friends and fans as well as the new
ones. And be assured, he and his vast experience is at your service. Give
him a call, or email or even snail mail him, even if it just to say
hello..or hello again. You will surely get a personal reply.
